Finmap
Finmap is a management accounting and cash-flow platform used by small and mid-sized businesses across Europe and the CIS. AllMCP provides 11 tools for the operations ledger, account balances, and the categories, projects, tags and counterparties your reports are built from.

- API key — the value you copied above.
Tools by category
Section titled “Tools by category”Once Finmap is connected, your agent can use the tools below. You don’t need to call anything by name — just describe what you want in plain language and the agent picks the right tool.
Operations
Section titled “Operations”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_operations | Lists income, expense and transfer operations from the cash-flow ledger. Filters by date range, operation type, account, category, project, tag, counterparty, amount range, approval status and free-text search, and pages through large periods. |
finmap_get_operation | Retrieves a single operation, either by its Finmap ID or by the external ID it was recorded with. |
finmap_create_income | Records an income operation — amount, receiving account, income category, counterparty, project, tags, date and comment. |
finmap_create_expense | Records an expense operation — amount, paying account, expense category, counterparty, project, tags, date and comment. |
finmap_create_transfer | Records a transfer between two of your own accounts, with a separate arrival amount when the two accounts are in different currencies. |
Accounts
Section titled “Accounts”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_accounts | Lists the company’s cash and bank accounts, by default with each one’s current balance in its own currency and the same figure converted to the company’s base currency. |
Categories
Section titled “Categories”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_income_categories | Lists the income categories — the revenue lines of a profit and loss report — with their parent links. |
finmap_list_expense_categories | Lists the expense categories — the cost lines of a profit and loss report — with their parent links. |
Projects
Section titled “Projects”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_projects | Lists the projects used to attribute operations to a business line, client or initiative, so reports can be segmented by them. |
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_tags | Lists the free-form tags available for labelling operations — campaigns, cost centres and anything else that doesn’t fit categories or projects. |
Counterparties
Section titled “Counterparties”| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
finmap_list_counterparties | Lists one counterparty ledger at a time — debtors, creditors, suppliers, investors, employees, owners or tax organisations — so a name can be matched to the party used on an operation. |
Common workflows
Section titled “Common workflows”Here are a few things you can simply ask your agent to do once Finmap is connected.
Build a profit and loss for last quarter and break the costs down by expense categoryHow much cash do we hold right now across all accounts, and which account holds the most?Log a 4,500 client retainer payment from ACME Corp into the Mono account, dated todayHow much have we spent on the Odessa launch project this year, and who did the money go to?Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- One key covers one company. Reports and operations always apply to the company the key belongs to. To work across several Finmap companies, connect each one separately.
- Operations can be recorded but not changed. Your agent can add income, expense and transfer entries; editing, deleting or approving an existing entry stays in the Finmap interface, so it’s worth confirming amount, account and date before asking for a write.
- Writes can be queued. Finmap may accept an operation for processing rather than posting it instantly. AllMCP returns the identifier it was recorded with so your agent can read the entry back and confirm it landed.
- Every amount comes twice. Each operation carries its value in the account’s own currency and in the company’s base currency. Totals that span accounts of different currencies are built from the base-currency figure, so they add up correctly.
- Balances are as of now. Account balances are current values with no as-of-date option, and a sub-account rolls up into its parent — ask about a specific account when you want a single unambiguous number.
- There is no “customers” list. A client who owes you money is a debtor, and a party you owe is a creditor. Say which direction you mean and your agent will pick the right ledger.
- Categories, projects, tags and counterparties are read-only. Your agent can look them up and use them, but new ones are created in Finmap itself.
